How does consignment work at Wildflower Cottage?
Wildflower Cottage is a fun and whimisical spot to consign or sell your clothing, jewelry, handbags and more! Bring in your items Monday-Friday to see if they are good fit for consignment at our store. If you would like to sell your items outright please schedule to meet with the owner who purchases jewelry, designer clothing, accessories and even whole estates.
Our Approach
Your Earnings
Our consignment model is straightforward and simple.
You’ll earn 35% percentage of the final selling price.
Pricing & Item Intake
Please stop in Monday - Friday to consign.
Mondays we are generally available to buy jewelry and designer items outright as well as to consign.
We’ll review your selections and accept the pieces that we need in the shop.
Pricing is guided by our market expertise.
To help your items find their next home, our team may adjust prices during the 60-day consignment period.
Bring in up to 10 items anytime in a hard container or on hangers (no trash bags). Clothing must be freshly cleaned with no stains nor holes or pet hair (exceptions made for high-end brands) with buttons buttoned, zippers zipped.
If we are unable to process your items while you are in store, you may leave up to 10 items for us to process later. Stop back in within 3 days to retrieve unaccepted items or they will be donated.
Please send pictures of larger items to our email or text for consideration. You are also welcome to send pictures of clothing items prior to coming in.
All accepted items will be thoughtfully styled into our store’s collection to give them the best chance at finding their next home.
Payouts
Payments are issued once per month and can be received either by:
ACH direct deposit
Check available on or before the 10th of each month for in-store pickup. Checks must be cashed within 6 months or will become void.
Pickups
Pick up unsold items after 60 days. At 70 days your items will be donated and become store property.
Call 2 days before pickup to request we gather your items.
Pickups are available Monday - Friday. If you for some reason you need a weekend pickup please let us know.
If there is an item we can locate, please help us find it with a second set of eyes.
Occassionally items are stolen. Our consignment agreement states we do not compensate in the event of theft.
Our goal is always to make our consignors happy and keep great items circulating through our community.
